These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Plannng mobile application and website (collectively, the "Service"), operated by Plannng ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Plannng is a retirement planning tool that allows you to model your financial future. The Service provides features including:

  • Creating detailed financial plans with income, pension, expense, investment, and asset elements.
  • Month-by-month deterministic projections based on your inputs.
  • Monte Carlo simulations to stress-test plans against market volatility.
  • Household planning for multiple people with age-based calculations.
  • Multiple scenario comparison.

2. Important financial disclaimer

Plannng is an informational tool only. The Service does not provide financial advice, recommendations, or guidance on what actions you should take. We are not a regulated financial adviser and do not recommend any particular course of action.

All projections, simulations, and results generated by the Service are estimates based on the inputs and assumptions you provide. They are not predictions or guarantees of future performance. Actual outcomes may differ materially from any projection or simulation.

You should seek independent professional financial advice before making any financial decisions. We accept no responsibility for any financial decisions you make based on information provided by the Service.

3. Account registration and security

To use certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential.
  • Notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorised access to your account where you have failed to keep your credentials secure.

4. Subscriptions and payments

The Service is free to get started. Certain advanced features require a paid subscription.

  • In-app purchases: Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store as auto-renewable in-app purchases.
  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Cancellation: You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings.
  • Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies.

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will take effect at the start of your next billing period following notice of the change.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the Service.
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works based on the Service.
  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access or extract data from the Service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its related systems.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

6. Intellectual property

All content, features, and functionality of the Service — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, software, and design — are the property of Plannng and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial retirement planning purposes, subject to these Terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
  • Any projections, simulations, or results will be accurate, reliable, or complete.
  • The Service will meet your specific requirements or expectations.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Plannng and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app. Upon account deletion, your data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

10. Apple App Store terms

If you access the Service through the Apple App Store, the following additional terms apply:

  • These Terms are between you and Plannng, not Apple Inc. ("Apple"). Plannng, not Apple, is solely responsible for the Service and its content.
  • The licence granted to you is limited to a non-transferable licence to use the Service on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules set forth in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.
  • Apple has no obligation whatsoever to provide any maintenance or support services with respect to the Service.
  • Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, whether express or implied by law. Plannng is solely responsible for any claims relating to the Service, including product liability claims, claims that the Service fails to conform to any applicable legal or regulatory requirement, and claims arising under consumer protection or similar legislation.
  • In the event of any third-party intellectual property claim, Plannng, not Apple, is solely responsible for the investigation, defence, settlement, and discharge of any such claim.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms. Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple will have the right (and will be deemed to have accepted the right) to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated Terms within the app or on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
